Proven Health Benefits of Yoga for Children

Children today face rising levels of stress, and it’s affecting their physical, emotional, and behavioural wellbeing. Children’s yoga offers practical, evidence‑informed tools that support all kids—including those who are neurodivergent—in managing challenges such as anxiety, attention difficulties, asthma, and low mood. Yoga builds self‑regulation, supports behaviour management, and strengthens emotional resilience. Simple practices like relaxation and breath awareness help calm the nervous system and create a sense of safety, grounding, and relief.
