WHY CHOOSE THIS TRAINING?
The Teacher Training in yoga and mindfulness for youth focuses on developing the skills to engage, inspire and connect with teens through yoga. It is created from a system of relevant, comprehensive modules that explore the major areas of yogic tools and practices.
Learn to empower teens and help them connect to who they are. Create age-appropriate classes, understand the teen brain, develop sequences, games, creative activities, mindfulness practices and reflections. Captivate and inspire teens to want to jump on their mat each week to have fun, relax and learn how to take yoga, 'off the mat' and into their daily lives. Once they have discovered and connected to their confidence and courage these tools then become, 'yoga in action' moment to moment to positively impact their health and wellbeing.

Benefits for Teenagers
This training offers insights into the teenage mind and gives you a solid foundation of knowledge, tools and confidence to share. These tools can be taken directly off the mat and applied into the daily lives of teens to support them to manage stress, anger, depression, anxiety and other common challenges. You will be able to help teenagers to navigate the challenging transition to adulthood by showing them sustainable coping mechanisms through yoga. It is essential to recognise the importance of building emotional resilience, mental health and wellbeing.
If you are drawn to sharing skills with teens to cultivate inner and outer harmony on their journey of self–exploration into adult life, then I hope you can join me. This training may be the beginning of your own unique and fulfilling journey of facilitating yoga for teenagers.

Meeting with Karen and attending her trainings has been a beautiful experience. Karen has a passion for teaching yoga to kids and teens as well as sharing her knowledge with aspiring teachers. She is incredibly generous and full of enthusiasm and truly inspired me to feel confident enough to begin my own classes. I always felt yoga would help teens and thanks to Karen I now have a better sense of how to connect them in ‘teen friendly’ ways to such a rich practice. I am also so grateful to know I can always come back to her for any advice and support. Thank you Karen!

The yoga for teens training was beyond all my expectations and delivered in a thorough and extremely comprehensive information, encompassing all aspects of teenage physical, emotional and mental well being. Backed up by integrated practical fun activities and anecdotes from a wealth of experience from the teacher. For a real insight to the area I would highly recommend Karen's training program which thoroughly prepares you for teaching teens.
