'Tweens & Teens Thriving' - Will be postponed until later in the year. Thank you for your interest and we will be back with new offerings soon.
Meet Rebel Rebel is a local part small business owner, Beauty Therapist of 22 years and Yoga Teacher. She was 15 when she was given her first yoga book, Yoga the path to holistic Health by BKS Iyengar, that she still has today. At the age of 26 she took her first Ashtanga Yoga class in a wellness center she was working in. It was here her Yoga journey truly began. After suffering with anxiety, panic attacks as a teen and digestive issues she learnt the profound benefits of breathwork and how it can also shift the vagus nerve. An essential tool for life. It wasn't until years later after a series of personal difficult events, challenges, health issues and burn out that she decided to delve deeper into yoga and it's lineages. It was life changing! It has taken her great courage, commitment, dedication, stepping outside her comfort zone and showing up for herself to push through limitations and also conquer a big fear in public speaking and teaching. She is incredibly compassionate and sensitive with a genuine understanding in the human condition. She knows first hand the power of yoga and slowing down for your well being, finding strength through vulnerability, showing up, truly loving yourself and listening to your own body. She teaches from her heart and personal experience, combining a fusion of her ongoing trainings and learnings and deep understanding in the body, mind, breath, heart and soul as a holistic approach. Inviting intuitive movement, alignment, the 5 element theory, connection, self inquiry, acceptance and of course ahimsa. Rebel provides a safe place no matter your circumstance, to listen to your own body and come home to who you already are. Working with students of all ages from 4yrs through to 90yrs young. Also injuries and disabilities. If you can breath you can do yoga. She is very passionate about Children and Teens learning these crucial tools for life and also in Yin and Trauma Informed Sound healing. Off the mat Rebel loves being in nature and by the sea.
