Yoga Benefits for Preteens
Growing up fast and living in a demanding world, the inner child within still needs to be nurtured, nourished and loves to play! This is often a delicate time in their lives where we witness a slight awkwardness as they experience the huge changes taking place, internally and externally. Yoga can build emotional resilience and help them discover self-confidence and self-esteem through a healthy body image. As pre-teens learn skills to self regulate, they become better equipped to manage worries and anxiety that can lead to stress, and learn to navigate through this time of change supporting positive mental and emotional health.
It is deeply rewarding to remind preteens how amazing they are, whilst sharing tools that can potentially support their smooth transition into the tender beginnings of young adulthood.

"Karen has a beautiful spirit and I was drawn to her energy, excitement, dedication and knowledge from the moment I met her. Having done many Workshops and Teacher Trainings, I can say that Karen is truly a Teacher's TEACHER! I walked out of the Levels 1, 2 and "Littlies" training with practical knowledge to immediately convert the Training into jumpstarting classes for kids. She has taken her own years of Training and Experience with kids and modelled all the knowledge and practice into an easy to follow curriculum full of play, games, asana, pranayama, movement, music and art - not only fun and exciting for kids - but gave me renewed passion and excitement to teach and influence our youngest members of society to be the change we all want to see in this world!"
